Museo de Arte Religioso Colonial de la Iglesia de Santo Domingo

Founded in 1976. Located on First Street, City of Parita, in the Church of Santo Domingo. Open Monday through Friday.

Founded in 1984. Located on Manuel María Correa St. and Julio Arjona Ave., City of Chitré. Ceramic, historical and folkloric items.

Festival del Manito.
Mid-August, City of Ocú. Folklore festival established to maintain the traditional culture of the region. One of the most important events is a traditional campesino (peasant) wedding. The couple is married in the church, then paraded on horseback by friends and family.
